Selected in the third round of the 1982 National Football League draft, Marve played professionally for 11 years, including six with the Buffalo Bills where he set the team’s single season record for tackles with 200 in 1986. He also played in Tampa Bay and San Diego. He twice earned All-Saginaw Valley Conference honors at Northern and twice received All-American honors at Saginaw Valley State University.
