Yambrick, Bill

Durable, two-way standout at Western Michigan University where he helped the Broncos to an undefeated season in 1941. He was elected captain and named the Most Valuable Player in 1942 after a season in which he intercepted nine passes in six games. A member of WMU Hall of Fame, Yambrick holds the school record for most intercepted passes in a game (four against Wayne State in 1942). Helped Northern High to undefeated season in 1935.
