Long been one of the area’s biggest boosters. He was the radio voice of Flint sports for 25 years at station WFDF and his columns appeared regularly in the Catholic Weekly and Grand Blanc News. He was instrumental in beginning the Athlete of the Month Award with the Flint Exchange Club, has served on the GFASHOF’s selection committee and long been a popular speaker and master of ceremonies at area sports banquets.
