Pratt was the area’s all-time winningest football coach and the only man to have reached 200 victories. Including basketball, his teams have won more than 520 games during a coaching career that began in 1958. He coached St. Matthew to three State Class D basketball championships in 1963, ’67 and ’68. His St. Matthew football and basketball teams were both undefeated during the 1966-67 school year.
