McGee, Paula

Paula McGee was known as a forceful player whose talents helped to make Northern High unstoppable and contributed to a 4 year era of dominance by Southern Cal. At Northern, Paula and her twin sister were the foundation for a state-record winning streak that reached 76 games. Northern completed undefeated seasons by winning its first 2 of 4 straight state Class A championships in ’78 and ’79. Combined with her sister, Paula produced similar success at S. Cal including successive national champs in 1983 and ’84 and a career record of 109-18.
