Kinzel, Joe

Kinzel excelled in several sports. He played minor league baseball, won the National Southpaw Golf Championship and was an outstanding bowler and figure skater. He pitched for Central High from 1935-37 and threw the first no-hitter in a city championship baseball game beating Northern 1-0 in 1937. He once struck out 11 straight batters without allowing a foul ball.
