Restrictions didn’t deter Pete Hanson’s dream of becoming a success in volleyball.
Instead of staying with the limited opportunities and resources of the sport in his hometown, Hanson created better circumstances for himself by remaining proactive and committed to his vision. His strong will and drive has now elevated him to legendary status as a sideline leader and a player.
The Ohio State University head volleyball coach is being rewarded for his long list of accomplishments as an inductee into the Greater Flint Area Sports Hall of Fame on Dec. 7 at the Genesys Athletic Club.
