Frechette won the City Amateur Golf Championship twice, the City Publinx six times and the City Seniors twice. As a bowler, he rolled 20 series’ of 700 or more and was inducted into the Flint Bowling Hall of Fame in 1972. He bowled a 300 game, had a hole-in-one, and pitched a no-hit softball game.
