Cmejrek, Carl

Cmejrek earned 9 letters in football, basketball, and baseball at Southwestern High and played football and baseball at U of M. He was a member of the U of M’s 1965 Rose Bowl football team and made the All-Big Ten Conference baseball team as a sophomore in 1965 when he led the league with a .453 batting average. Cmejrek played professionally in the Baltimore Orioles’ organization, then returned to Flint where he helped Bishop Construction to the Stan Musial Division national baseball championship in 1975.
