Bobby Reynolds is the definition of a journeyman when it comes to his professional hockey career. The Flint native laced up his skates with multiple minor league teams throughout the U.S., played several seasons in Europe, briefly with the Toronto Maple Leafs and then eventually — finally — back home with the Flint Generals.
Reynolds came to the Generals in 2001, at the tail end of his hockey career, and played five seasons before becoming the team’s head coach for two more. He led the International Hockey League in scoring three seasons and finished top five in scoring in the Generals’ franchise history.
