Set every high school rushing record in Flint during a superb three-year career at Southwestern from 1974-76. As a senior, broke his own one-season record he set as a junior by rushing for 1,263 yards while leading the Colts to a 9-0 record and unanimous selection as the state’s number one team in all of the 1976 polls. A two-time All-State selection, played four years at Penn State where he became its fifth-leading career rusher. Was the number one draft choice of the Buffalo Bills in 1981.
