Coached Central High to three successive State Class A championships (1981-83) while compiling a record of 79-5 including 28-0 in ’81. Won more than 500 games as junior varsity and varsity coach at Central High and Mott Community College. Member of Michigan Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Starred as player at Central Michigan University where he was named Captain and Most Valuable Player after being named captain and twice gaining MVP honors at Flint Tech High.
