A state high school tennis champion at Northern, Cook collected 145 trophies while winning city, church league, IMA league and Olympian Games titles in softball, basketball, tennis, table tennis and paddleball. Also scored a hole-in-one in golf. Extraordinarily popular official in basketball, football and softball for more than 30 years.
